No Honor Introduction - Start Here!

"No Honor" Introduction;
Hello, and Welcome. My name is Brian Anthony Seals, and somehow, you've found "No Honor"
I started this story (a Western) as a free-writing exercise. Basically, that means that there was very little preparation done, before writing began. I had an idea about the main character, the notion that I should begin with action, and things naturally progressed from there. I did have to do some research, as certain things occurred during the narrative, but I didn't do any background writing on the characters.
With that said, I'm pleased enough with the results that I'd happily have it printed, and evaluated against similar work, that has been taken up by major publishers. There are a few reasons for this. One: it's a story that focuses on plot and action; there's a lot of 'meat' to this one. Two: Many of the characters herein were inspired by other people, and/or characters, and their dialogue and actions are either referenced, instinctual, or more likely, a combination of the two.
A few words of warning are needed here. This is, essentially an ebook, and it's aimed at adults; that means 18 and over. It's not for every adult either. It contains very tough subject matter, and violence, and depressing situations.
If you're the type of person that's easily and negatively affected by those things, this isn't for you. If you're looking for an upbeat, ray-of-sunshine story, or something where right and wrong is crystal clear, you're going to be disappointed. Expect tough questions, and answers you may not like. Expect something that will try to move you, and affect you emotionally.
You can rest assured, that what's in this fiction isn't there for 'shock value', or 'controversy'. It's there to affect the characters herein, and to bolster them to do, what they otherwise would not. It's there because, the wide spectrum of human nature contains both wonderful, and horrifying things. One benefit to writing a story so dark is, the lighter parts are that much brighter.
Underneath all that, what you have, is a book-long 'action film', that hopefully makes you think. If that sounds like your cup of tea, by all means continue. I hope you enjoy this Western half as much, as I enjoyed writing it. If you do, follow me on Twitter for news as to my next projects, and regarding this story's characters. I'm @ChannelSeals.
